Garfield’s Peter is later called to aid Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in No Way Home after a spell gone awry breaks open the multiverse and brings over the people who know Spidey’s identity. His version of Spider-Man was last seen failing to save his girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) from Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), who was transformed into the Green Goblin. Spider-Man: No Way Home formally brought Garfield’s Peter Parker into the multiverse, bridging the worlds of Sony’s Spider-Man universe (which includes the Venom movies) and the MCU. Garfield reprised his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which also brought back Tobey Maguire’s iteration of the web-slinging superhero to battle the likes of Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin.
